Parent Organization
Parent Org. and Booster's Club have combined meetings once a month starting at 5pm in the Flex Room, unless scheduled for another date due to holidays, or board member schedule conflicts. Please note this schedule is subject to change, which will be communicated via Parents MiStar email addresses. (update: the adjusted meeting dates will be posted as planned)
The members of the Henry Ford Academy Parent Organization are committed to mutual responsibility for the enhancement of academic and personal development of all Academy students. We are dedicated to supporting student activities through fundraising along side HFA administration and faculty.
- Every parent/guardian of a Henry Ford Academy student is automatically a member of the HFA Parent Organization.
- Any adult family member who is involved with a student is welcome to join the HFAPO; grandparent, aunt, uncle, older sibling.
- The Parent Organization communicates primarily via email. To be added to our email list, please send us an email at hfaparentorg@gmail.com and include:
- Your name
- The name of the student(s) attending HFA
- Graduation year of the student(s)
- Your relationship to the student(s)
- If you have any questions, please email the PO at hfaparentorg@gmail.com
- Membership in the HFAPO allows you to make motions and vote during our monthly meeting, hold an office and serve on committees.
Volunteer
ENHANCE YOUR CHILD'S SUCCESS AT HFA BY VOLUNTEERING
Studies show student academic performance improves with parent involvement. Get involved by signing up for on of the many volunteer opportunities at HFA.
The HFA Parent Organization coordinates volunteer efforts for school activities and raises funds to support school programs that further enrich the experience of all students. Parent volunteers are needed to help with the school programs, class events, field trips and learning activities at HFA. Requests for volunteers are made during PO meetings and through the PO email list.

Volunteer Opportunity:
Parent Org. is starting up the school store! This occurs during AC on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are in need of volunteers to help sell snack items in the Big Room of the Village Campus during AC. This allows us to raise money to help with all the needs to of the school.

Annual Fundraisers
Some annual fundraisers include Thanksgiving Pie Sales, Christmas Five Below, School Store, Formal Wear Shop, SAT/PSAT Student Breakfast, Easter Dearborn Ham sales, Cinco de Mayo Music Bingo, and Texas Roadhouse Graduation Dinner Giftcards!
The Formal Wear Shop is when your student(s) have the opportunity to get their prom or royal ball attire completely FREE, thanks to our generous local donors and the hard work of our committed parents.
Easter Dearborn Ham Fundraiser starts February 14th through March 13th, 2024!
All orders with money are due on the 5 of April and can be dropped off to Mr. Miller at the Museum Office. Cash and checks accepted. Pick up will be at the school Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Order Form, Items & Prices, Fundraiser Flyer.
Sing, Dance, and Enjoy Cinco de Mayo with Parent Organization during their Annual Music Bingo celebration!
Please help support the HFA Parent Organization by participating in this holiday fundraiser at Five Below in Allen Park (3140 Fairlane Dr, Allen Park, MI 48101). All you need to do is shop between Sunday, December 5th, and Saturday, December 11th and show them THIS FLYER (printed or on your phone) and they will donate 10% of the sale to HFA. If you shop at other Five Below locations you can email a copy of your receipt to Anne Michelis at annemichelis@yahoo.com and it will be submitted to the Allen Park store for credit. Thank you for your support!!
