Annual Student Activities!

Art Club Pumpkin Carving in Greenfield Village

Who: The first 40 students (10 per grade) to sign up by scanning the QR code each week. QR Code located in the weekly announcements, or simply email Mr. Sipos (dsipos@hfa-dearborn.org).

What: Help the THF staff carve 1200 pumpkins to line the Village streets for the Halloween Nights Events and earn community service hours!

When: 4 Wednesdays in October (4th, 11th, 18th and 25th)

What time: 3:45pm to 6:00pm

Where: The Lodge (formally known as the Village Pavilion) next to the Carousel.  If driving in or getting picked up: Go to the “Blue Gate” (same as the dance) next to the 9th grade campus.

         *Tell the Guard that you are there to Carve Pumpkins with HFA

         **Make sure to bring your HFA Student ID with you and show it!

~This is where you will be picked up as well (your ride should tell the guard that they are there to pick you up at the pavilion).

~When driving, the speed limit is 10mph!  Stay left until you end up in a parking lot.

~The pavilion is the first building to the right when you pull into the lot.

How: Show up to the pavilion, sign in with Mr. Sipos (for your CS hours) and start carving.

Other Details: Please bring your own Safety Knife and other carving tools (best place to purchase are the Halloween pop-up stores).

*Do NOT bring any knife to school (EVER), unless it is a safety knife that is meant for carving on the dates listed above and do not take it out of your back pack until you are seated in the Pavilion and you are about to start carving.
