Our team is part of FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics, founded in 1989 to inspire young people's interest and participation in science and technology.  Though we are a small team compared to many of our competitors, we are successful.  We have qualified for the state competition for the last two years, and qualified for and attended the World competition in 2016!  As a team, we are known for our "Gracious Professionalism".

Robotics continues throughout the entire year.  Our students wear many "hats": programmer, mechanic, machinist, electrician, CADer, driver, scout, and fundraiser to name a few.  As you can see, there are many ways to be useful on the robotics team.

We value our students' education; every school-night meeting begins with Homework Hour, where students sit quietly and complete homework.
We are more of a sport than a club; we compete!  Students in robotics should expect to attend 3 to 4 competitions per year and be an active participant throughout the school year.
